The state of newspapers
Public radio has a story on the sorry state of newspapers that includes an interview with Brent Hopkins, our own reporter turned cop.

Uh... no comment on the news coming out of the DN today?
Let's be fair. We of course want updates on news involving us, and we count on the guild to fight for us, but while all of us are saddened by this despicable move, seems to me it'd be improper for the union to involve itself in management decisions that involve management.
